DAY SEVEN -- LeBron James tries to shake off his game two performance, Ron Artest returns from suspension, and the new and improved Kobe Bryant looks to lead the Lakers over Phoenix to take the lead in the series.
Ron Artest returns to the floor for the Kings tonight against the Spurs, LeBron James and the Cavs try to bounce back when they visit Washington, and the Kobe Bryant-Nash Steve duo continues in L.A as the two stars try to get their respective teams a lead in this series.
Cavaliers at Wizards, 8:00 PM, ESPN
Winner: Cavaliers
Thoughts: LeBron was thoroughly held in check in game two and as a result his team struggled. With all due respect to Jared Jeffries and the Wizards defense as a whole, LeBron can't be held down for long. I think we should consider game two an aberration and expect King James to come up with a big performance tonight.
Spurs at Kings, 10:00 PM, ESPN2
Winner: Kings
Thoughts: This was never going to be an easy series for the Spurs. If game one killed that sentiment, then a trip to over-time in game two brought it back to life. Ron Ron is back and most likely with a vengeance. The Kings went 18-3 at Arco Arena to end the season; with the home crowd behind them we should expect nothing less than an energetic and impassioned game from the Kings.
Suns at Lakers, 10:30 PM, ESPN
Winner: Lakers
Thoughts: Phil Jackson's coaching has turned this series around. Kobe is sharing the basketball, Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown are getting the ball and going at the Suns down-low, and as a result the Suns are struggling to get into their running game. Since Mike D'Antoni is incapable of actually coaching, this trend will continue and being on the road won't help the Suns any.
