DAY EIGHT -- The Nets and Nuggets look to even up their respective series while the Grizzlies and Bucks try to get their first wins.
Nets at Pacers, 3:00 PM, TNT
Winner: Nets
Thoughts: The Pacers stole one on Jersey's homecourt in game one, and now the Nets will return the favor. We haven't had a really close game since game one, but expect a battle today. The series has been getting more physical and both teams will bring a tough game today.
Mavericks at Grizzlies, 5:30 PM, TNT
Winner: Grizzlies
Thoughts: The Grizzlies have lost all ten of the playoff games in their franchise's history -- that streak ends today. The Mavs are going to win this series, but they were never going to sweep and this is the best chance for Memphis to pull off a win. Pao Gasol will assert himself down-low and the defense will be raised a level by Memphis.
Pistons at Bucks, 8:00 PM, ESPN
Winner: Pistons
Thoughts: The Bucks have managed to pull close against the Pistons in the first two games, but without a way to clone Michael Redd, they aren't getting a win. Redd has played well, but the Pistons are too deep and too good. A good game from T.J Ford and Andrew Bogut will make things close, but the Pistons will once again come out on top.
Clippers at Nuggets, 10:30 PM, ESPN
Winner: Clippers
Thoughts: The Nuggets came out strong in game three, but this is still the Clippers series to win. Expect Cassell and Brand to set an aggressive tone offensively for L.A. If the Clippers can cut down on Denver's fastbreak opportunities and establish their defense like they did in games one and two, we should see L.A go up 3-1.
