DAY TWO - Washington and Cleveland, and Phoenix and Los Angeles face off in rematches of last season's first round match ups; San Antonio takes on AI and 'Melo, and Dallas faces one of the toughest eight seed match ups in a long time.
Wizards at Cavaliers, 12:30 PM, TNT
Winner: Cleveland
Thoughts: Washington is beat up, without Gilbert Arenas and Caron Butler. They may manage to win a game in this series, but not in the opening contest, not on Cleveland's home floor. LeBron goes big and the Cavs win big.
Lakers at Suns, 3:00 PM, ABC
Winner: Phoenix
Thoughts: I expect this to be a close series, and I expect this game to be a tight contest to kick off the series. LA will win some games, and maybe steal game two, but this one in Phoenix goes to the Suns. The Lakers have been struggling towards the end of the regular season and may take them a couple of game before they set things right in the postseason. Phoenix rolls as usual and takes the win.
Nuggets at Spurs, 7:00 PM, TNT
Winner: Spurs
Thoughts: The Nuggets come into the playoff in a solid rhythm and they should prove a tough matchup for the Spurs. Nevertheless, the Spurs simply don't lose game one's often, especially in the first round. The Spurs will come out focused and prepared, the Nuggets will come out jacked up. It'll be a close game, but defense and points from the bench give the Spurs the win.
Warriors at Mavericks, 9:30 PM, TNT
Winner: Warriors
Thoughts: This may end up being my favorite series to watch and with good reason. I'm taking a stretch, but I have a feeling we're going to see Golden State steal game one in Dallas. The Mavs have struggled with this team all season and I think it's going to take a game before they can adjust. Baron Davis and the Golden State backcourt comes out shooting and the Warriors pull off the narrow game one upset.
