Halo 3 is out, and many gamers across the world have already been well entrenched in the consuming awesomeness that is the best FPS ever created. With most of us already having conquered the campaign, the next step is obviously to go knee deep in multiplayer goodness. But what's multiplayer without great people to play with? It's a good thing we have Gamevine.
I've already had plenty to say about Halo 3, and while the thought of an all out glowing review is tempting, that's like writing an article to tell people the earth revolves around the sun, it's been done, and furthermore it's obvious.
What I really want to do is continue to explore multiplayer. I've been spending quite a bit of time in matchmaking, but not so much playing custom games or anything people have cooked up in Forge. To remedy this I propose a Gamevine Halo 3 Event.
When I say 'event' I'm thinking of something along the lines of a tournament or big custom game. According to Gamevine Friends Master List there are around sixteen people with a Xbox 360 and Xbox Live (not including myself). If that's still up to date and most of those folks have purchased Halo 3, that could make for a pretty good game.
The real questions are how many of you would be interested, how would we set it up, and what kind of stuff would we play? Therefore you will find a poll to your right where you can vote on what you think about the idea. Also, leave a comment if you're interested.
After all, this is Gamevine, we should use the Vine to, you know, do some gaming.
